Preparation

Our emergency procedures cover a wide range of situations from fire emergencies to situations involving violent intruders.

People Preparation

In order to ensure that all people in the workplace are prepared for emergencies, the following plan has been adopted:

  • All employees are briefed on our Emergency Procedures by the Manager, with regular refresher briefings being provided as deemed necessary.
  • Fire Warden(s) and First Aider(s) are identified and trained regarding their responsibilities in the event of emergency. Refer Emergency Personnel Lists.
  • People requiring special assistance in the event of emergency are identified.
  • Evacuation drills are conducted, at least quarterly, followed by constructive debrief session(s).
